Colorado Sports Giving Day
September 1st to September 15th
From September 1 through September 15, SLVYHA is participating in Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day, a statewide fundraising event through ColoradoGives.org. Every donation goes directly toward ice time, gear, and registration assistance, helping any kid in the San Luis Valley who wants to play hockey get on the ice. Starting at 6:00 PM on September 1, the first $1 million donated statewide gets matched dollar for dollar, so gifts made the night the match opens go furthest. After the match runs out, an Incentive Fund continues boosting donations through September 15. Our goal this year is $15,000.
